Here are a few answers to questions you might have…

I’m still on the fence, do you offer a free consult?

I do! It’s a big decision to find a therapist that you can relate with and that’s a good fit for your specific needs. I offer a free, no-obligation consultation via phone or video. To schedule a consult call, click the button at the end of this page to fill out the Request a Consult form.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Not at this time. All sessions are held online.

What can I expect from going to therapy?

Therapy is collaborative in nature and is most effective when engaged on a consistent schedule. Together, we’ll establish goals and a plan for addressing the concerns you bring forth. I work from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework, a non-pathologizing approach to healing anxiety, depression, and relational trauma. IFS goes beyond talk therapy, and is a body-based and relational modality. Our weekly sessions will build upon one another and provide opportunities for practicing learned skills that will support you in your life and work.

How much does it cost?

My full fee for a 50-55-minute session is $150 with payment due at the time of service. All services require a credit card to remain on file for ease of payment for both client and therapist.

Do you take insurance?

Yes! I currently accept: Presbyterian + BCBS plans (including their Medicaid plans)

Do you offer reduced-rate sessions?

I do! I reserve a limited amount of reduced rate sessions based on financial need for those who are uninsured. These sessions are prioritized for those who are established clients and have recently lost their insurance benefits. Please reach out to inquire about available sessions.

Can we work together if I live outside of New Mexico?

Unfortunately no. For individual mental health therapy, I am licensed for residents of New Mexico only.

Do you work with kids, teens, or couples?

I work with adults only in individual sessions. My best fit clients tend to be women and non-binary adults in midlife.

What happens if we’re not a good fit?

Not to worry! It is a huge decision to choose a therapist. The first 3-5 sessions will give us both a chance to see if our work together feels like a good fit. In the case that it does not, I will provide you with referrals for other mental health professionals.
